The Dutch Design Week takes place in Eindhoven every year and design from all around the Netherlands is displayed there. It is the largest design event in Northern Europe and a visit had been highly recommended by many of my professors at uni.
The American Author Raymond Chandler famously said, “I certainly admire people who do things” and even though I never really feel like I do all that much, occasionally, when I flick back through my diary I realise that I do in fact do a lot more than I think.

While travelling through Orkney this summer, I always had my sketchbook with me. The days were quite packed, so I didn’t have the opportunity to draw as much as I had planned but I did manage to fill some of the pages though…
This semester I did a joint project with my colleague Luca at university called “Creanature”. The main topic of our project was “the forest”, and we both had separate areas of interest. I personally was interested in stories, fairy tales and legends, while Luca liked the idea of doing something to do with free time and leisure in the forest.
Creanature was the result of a project I did together with Luca Leifer for one of my courses at university.
